Curious as to WHY a Virtual Tour of your school district? Let’s ask the people in Roslyn, N.Y.
Many school districts have asked me whether providing virtual tours to its students is beneficial, and if so, how?
Roslyn, N.Y. Assistant School Superintendent Michael Goldspiel recently asked CampusVR to create VR tours of the entire school district including 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and Roslyn High School.
His reasoning, particularly in the age of COVID, is incredibly profound;
“A school district would benefit the community by these virtual tours in allowing students and families to see the learning space before they step foot in the building. The angst, anxieties and fears subside when the fear of the unknown becomes the excitement and intrigue of what they now know is awaiting their arrival.” – Roslyn, N.Y. Assistant School Superintendent Michael Goldspiel
We should all be so lucky to have someone so caring, like Michael, watching over our children. It was a pleasure working with the Roslyn School District.
